It’s a funny life I lead. I work in my office most days this time of year, getting portraits ready to be given as gifts for the holidays, so I’m kind of always in summer mode. I am constantly surrounded with images of summer. It often comes as quite a shock when I go outside to chilly temps, because my brain has been hanging out all day on our beautiful Cape Cod beaches on those, beautiful, warm summer evenings with some really cool families, and high school seniors taking portraits.
I am already booking portraits for next summer, so I’m looking back, looking ahead, surrounded constantly by summer, all while trying to just live in this moment where it is most definitely not summer. This chilly, windy, dusted with snow, moment..jpg)
