Cape Cod Family Photos

I love thinking about all of the portraits I’ve created all year being given and received as gifts during this holiday season. What a lovely gift, that of one’s family. Last year we gave my in-laws and husbands family portraits I’d created of us all, so I know first hand how much fun portraits are to give. It’s like wrapping up a little love. And who doesn’t need that?

I photographed this family over the summer, at Dowses Beach in Osterville, a favorite location of mine. They had taken advantage of a special promotion I’d offered to one of our schools as a fundraiser for their new playground. It’s such a perfect way to give back for both of us, a win win for everyone. They were great, the portrait session included lots of silliness and laughter, my favorite kind!
