I drive by this whale pretty much every day. He hangs out between my house and my studio, and I just think he’s adorable. I have always meant to stop and see what Oars N More was all about, but you know how life goes. It zips by and before you know it, months have passed and some of the things on your list just seem to permanently stay there.
The other day as I was driving by, the light was perfect, it was overcast, flat light, I knew exactly what I needed to photograph my whale friend, so I pulled in and took a couple of quick photos. And then I went to look in the windows. Oh my gosh, I simply can not wait for May when the store opens for the season to have a peek around. There is so much cool stuff in there. I might get lost for days… I thought they sold boats and boat parts, which of course, they do, but they sell oh so much more! (Probably why the put the ‘& more’ in their name!). A marine consignment store, what could be more perfect?
