Cape Cod Maternity Session on the Beach

It’s really exciting to become a mom. Those few months between couple and parents are truly magical. Maybe a little scary too. But mostly amazing. Becoming a mom is my favorite thing I’ve ever done. I can’t imagine life without my spectacular daughter. She has made me a better person. And she has filled our lives with more joy than I could have ever imagined. She’s a teenager now, so there are some tricky moments, yes, but I wouldn’t change a thing. (Okay, well mostly I wouldn’t change a thing.)

I loved this couple. Prior to their maternity photo session we exchanged ideas via Pinterest boards, which was so cool, and really gave me an idea of what they were looking for in their portrait session. Between us, we came up with a plan and had so much fun when it came time to actually create the portraits. We took portraits in both the studio and the beach, boy did we have a ton of images!!! We got the most amazingly perfect night for the beach photos. Mayflower Beach, always a beautiful spot to have your portraits taken, stepped up it’s game for us, a spectacular sunset, light breezes, wish every night could be one of those nights. They are so in love, and she was so spectacular, it was hard to edit out any of the portraits!!!! Some days it’s just so darn easy to be a Cape Cod portrait photographer!!!!
